Automotive Service Technician (310S Licensed Required)

Right Way Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician (310S Licensed) with strong diagnostic skills to join our growing team in Hamilton, Ontario.


We are preparing for increased demand in the Spring–Summer 2026 season and are looking for a highly skilled technician who can work independently and handle complex repairs with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, inspections, and mechanical repairs according to industry standards
  • Repair or replace mechanical units and components
  • Perform Ministry of Transportation (MTO) vehicle inspections
  • Road test vehicles and verify repairs
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisor or management
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensure all vehicles meet MTO safety standards

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician License (Required)
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a licensed automotive technician
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • We do not offer LMIA or work visa sponsorship
  • Valid “G” driver’s license (non-probationary)
  • Own tools
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience performing MTO safety inspections
  • Strong electrical and advanced diagnostic experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Conditions

  • Full-time permanent position
  • 42.5 hours per week (weekdays only)
  • $34–38 per hour based on experience and performance
  • Safe and clean work environment
  • Performance review after probation period
